For my final post of 2015, I would like to share the best posts on Simple Practical Beautiful from this year. Technically, all of the posts are from the last six months since I spent the first half of the year researching, planning, and figuring out how to start a blog. I didn’t start posting homemaking projects and ideas until July.
My Favorite Posts
My favorite post to write and photograph was Jane’s Fairy Garden Park. It was so much fun to work with my daughter and to watch her creativity. It was also a lot of fun to play with my camera to photograph the miniature pieces.
Another post that I really enjoyed making was the video on How to Hem Curtains. Despite having to watch myself on video, I had fun cutting and editing the video together. I really need to make more videos; if only they didn’t take so much time.
My favorite project that I posted about this year was Audrey’s Harry Potter Party. It was a fun party, and I had a blast planning and preparing all of the magical Hogwarts details.

How to Make a Sorting Hat has the most repins and likes on Pinterest. People continue to repin it still, months after when I first posted it.
Vincent’s DIY Baby Mummy Costume also has a lot of repins on Pinterest, even though I never created a Pinterest image with words on it. It must be because he’s so cute!
Top Shares on Facebook
The Star Wars Nursery Mobile & Rug was shared and liked the most on Facebook. I’m sure the Lego factor makes this post so popular (and awesome).
The Little Tikes Toddler Batmobile has also been pretty popular on Facebook, but not quite as popular as it has been with my toddler. He spends more time sitting in his Batmobile than anywhere else. He even opened most of his Christmas presents while sitting in his new car.

The posts that people talked about the most, or at least commented on the most was the Industrial Pipe Shelves in the Star Wars nursery. They were also featured at the Making Broken Beautiful link party.
You can already see these on the side bar of the main page, but the post that have been clicked on and read the most are:

Starting a blog this year has been quite an adventure, but I couldn’t have done it without you: my readers, my friends, my support. Thank you so much for taking the time to read the posts on Simple Practical Beautiful and for sharing them with others.
